Event Information

This Fall's annual Sammamish Trails/North Lakes District Merit Badge Weekend will be held at Camp Pigott on the weekend of October 23, 24, and 25 (Sunday is optional).  Please plan on sleeping in tents - we cannot guarantee anyone will have an Adirondack (Scouts can use the nights toward Camping Merit Badge and Order of the Arrow eligibility if they sleep in tents.)

What is Merit Badge Weekend?

Merit Badge Weekend is a weekend outing where Scouts have the opportunity to earn a merit badge.

Advancement

Each Scout can take one merit badge. There will be plenty of classes.  We will make every possible effort give each Scout his first choice, but this means we'll need your help to recruit enough Merit Badge Counselors.  A second choice is mandatory in case we cannot staff a badge, or we do not get enough Scouts to put on a Merit Badge.  PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SCOUTS WITH BOTH FIRST AND SECOND CHOICE FILLED IN WITH DIFFERENT CHOICES.  FAILURE TO COMPLY PLACES A HUGE BURDEN ON THE REGISTRATION TEAM.
